Wed Night Programs return 9 Jan with a study of
Want to know what the Apostle Paul succinctly believed? Read Romans. It is the longest, weightiest and subsequently the most influential of all his correspondence.
In Romans, Paul introduces himself to a church he has yet to visit - a church that was established without his help. In so doing he lays out what it is that he believes - which is a study worth pursuing for its own sake. But this also is a church that was bitterly divided - and Paul addresses their concerns and how to deal with them, as well.
What we can learn about the theology of Paul and how to contend with division in our own time is study worthy of your time. Join us on Wednesday nights on a study and discussion of this text and its fascinating history.
We gather for a potluck supper at 6:30 pm. The class follows at 7 pm. There is child care and there are age appropriate activities for the entire family.
